Study Abroad Alumni Have Boosted Creativity Scores, Study Finds

by Dave Kokandy, Career Specialist

Some of the most desired qualities in new hires at certain businesses and organizations is creativity and the ability to solve problems.

A recent article in the Pacific Standard details a study in which students who had completed study abroad experiences outperformed both students who planned to study abroad (but had not yet done so) and students who reported no interest in studying abroad.

Ashland University students, if you are in a field that would benefit from creativity - consider studying abroad! As an AU student, you have many opportunities to study abroad, and there is no better time to do so. For more information about studying abroad, please visit the AU Global Education Office or attend the Study Abroad Fair on Wednesday, 8/29. Bon voyage!
