Lindsey Knapp, Intern of the Month for October, 2012

The Career Services Center would like to congratulate senior Lindsey Knapp as October's Intern of the Month. Lindsay is a Biology major and completed her internship at The University of California-Berkeley in the Department of Biology. Lindsey's responsibilities were similar to that of a graduate student--she implemented experiments independently throughout the summer, and at the end of the summer gave presentations on her projects.  Lindsey says, "I would strongly encourage students in all majors to complete an internship. Nothing will teach you more than actually getting into the field and working alongside professionals." Lindsey is also the President of the Honors Society and works in the Chemistry Stockroom.
Congratulations, Lindsey!

Students who become Intern of the Month will receive a $20 gift card to the bookstore, a free leather portfolio, as well as home town and campus wide recognition. Read more about it and download an application at the Ashland University Career Services website.
